Our very popular handmade bowls and trivets Are finally available as kits!!!

We’ve included enough materials to make either one bowl or two trivets, and have instructions on how to make both. The fabrics we included in these kits coordinate beautifully with our handmade beeswaxed bread bags.

A sewing machine Is required for completing this project. My 12-year-old son loves making these bowls and trivets, and is a wonderful entry level project for anyone looking to make something unique and functional with their sewing machine.

I must be honest

To be honest, I did not receive the Cotton Rope Kit. I received a fully made hot pad instead. The hot pad is great; it is as presented online. This item was not a gift, it was just for me, so I didn’t bother to report it. As the owner of a small business, I was mostly wanting to support this family run business. The items I received (a waxed bread bag and the cotton rope hot pad) are great, and I like the vibe of Five Star Farms. We are humans and mistakes happen. (Again, as a small business owner…I KNOW!) I recommend shopping and supporting this business.
