This will be the most versatile spice blend in your kitchen.
When we developed it, we were just trying to come up with a great dry rub for smoked wings. Once we fine tuned the flavors, we got a *little* obsessed with it.
We used it as a chicken rub and it turned out great, then a turkey rub, then sprinkled it on burgers, its fantastic on pork chops, I season all of our roasted veggies with it, and we even dust our tatter tots with it before they go in the oven!
After we figured out how many things it was tasty on, we decided it needed a name. My husband said "It just adds good flavor to just about anything." and Flavor Dust was born.

Spurtle
This is my favorite tool for stirring, scraping and doling out our sourdough starter.
I love using wood utensils in my kitchen. They are not easily deformed, lightweight, durable, don't conduct heat, and made from natural materials. With this simple design, comfortable handle, wide blade with a slightly angled end, it is ideal for mixing and scraping down the sides of your starter jar.
This Spurtle is 11 inches long and a little more than 1 inch wide.
It is perfect. I got it as a Christmas for myself. I baked a loaf of bread today and it worked great. It's beautiful and will keep my bread fresh for days. Thank you!
I've only used the Boule recipe so far, but it makes a lovely LARGE loaf or 2 nice smaller loaves. Looking forward to making the other recipes too, especially the cinnamon rolls!
